Staying home also afforded me the opportunity to just hang out with Henry while Evan was napping. We updated his blog (!) and painted many, many pumpkins. It was a ball!
Then, when Dave, Seth and Caroline got back, they joined Evan and Henry in coloring a box (?!). I'm not really sure what their plans are for it. Evan started it. (Although Evan does not look it in this picture, he generally was very happy to have all his siblings working on a project with him.)
With the weather being as crummy as it was today, it was so nice to be all holed up in the house, warm and cozy. We finished up the day watching The Sandlot together, snuggled up on the couches. (I had forgotten what a great movie that is. The kids loved it!)That was a good day.
