It's always something.

This is what we found in our yard this morning. It was HUGE, as in bigger than a dinner plate.

It was a snapping turtle, and this is the closest that Henry got to it.

Here's our first attempt to get the turtle out of our yard.



Sharp claws and snapping made us quickly decide that we needed to come up with another plan. Plan B worked much better.



Dave carried him to the backyard where he released him to the pond. I am very thankful that he was working from home today. ;)



Good bye, turtle. Hope you like the pond. Please stay there!
