Call us crazy...

...but come early June of this year, we'll be getting one of these.

We've put down a deposit for a Wheaten Terrier girl puppy, and we honestly couldn't be more excited! The puppies will be born in early April. It's almost like we're expecting again! The breeder will be emailing pictures of the puppies to us when they arrive, and then will continue to send us pictures weekly until our little girl is ready to be adopted at 8 weeks. What a nice thing for her to do. The kids are going to love seeing their puppy grow!

We're going to get a little girl because poor Caroline is tired of being outnumbered. She thinks that there are too many boys around here. Now we're faced with the challenge of coming up with a girl name that is not to "girly" for the boys. We have a list going, so if you have any suggestions for us, please share! :)
Names suggested so far:
1. Cubby (Henry's favorite)
2. Lucy (It's an early favorite...Caroline and I love it, and Seth really likes it because his teacher's dog is named Lucy.)
3. Sadie
4. Casey
5. Maeve or Fiona (Irish girl names for an Irish dog)
6. Moxie (think all the kids might like it...spunky, fun, full of it) UPDATE: The kids all like this one! I believe we have a winner!)
7. Macy
8. Scooby-Doo (Evan's favorite)
9. Bridget (Irish)
10. Ella (Irish) or Ellie
11. Keely or Kelly (Irish)
12. Halley
13. Kaya (Native American name meaning sister)
14. Schatzi (German for sweetheart)
It's a good thing that we have two and a half months. This is tough!
