Progress

So...its been 11 days since I've given up caffeine! (I do miss my chai latte!) You know, you have to celebrate small victories. 11 days ago, I started working out, and made it 3 whole days before my sciatica started acting up again. I can't work out again until it subsides. Truthfully, I was a little bummed, but I tried to let it inspire me to be healthy in other ways. Hence, no caffeine. Now that I'm past the caffeine withdrawal headaches, I'm actually feeling pretty good! And I'm even on a little diet.

The house is coming together too...closets are ready for spring and summer, clothes ready to pass on to family and to donate...we moved the kids into their bathroom...I gathered some more books and toys to give to AmVets...come to think of it, our house has been on a diet too! I have definitely noticed we are more efficient. The kids are doing more in terms of chores now, maybe because things make more sense in terms of organization. We are going in the right direction.

And now, because you might expect something more than a mug and an empty chai tea container, here's a video of what amounts to Evan chasing his tail. (The kids had just helped me clean up the playroom!)

What more can I say! You continue to inspire me Sarah! Getting up at 4:00 a.m. allowed me to catch up on ironing. I will also be putting away the St. Pat's decorations today. How rewarding to accomplish simple tasks that help us stay on top of things. Less is more is our mantra!

In previewing the comment, I wrote, I don't know why the computer time shows 3:00 a.m. Right now it is 5:00 a.m.

I like the mantra! :)
I don't know why, but the time is always off on my blog. There is probably some way to fix it, but I haven't figured it out yet!
Love,
Sarah
