Evan's last game

It is exhausting to keep up with your older brothers and sister in the summer.  Late bedtimes, a lot more outdoor play, play dates with friends a-plenty, and lots of family gatherings leave Evan needing to catch a nap when he can fit one in...like 5 minutes before we leave for his final baseball game.  Poor boy!
He had a great game!  Evan was the last one at bat at the end of the game, and he hit it pretty far without the tee. In little league, at the end of a game all of the kids on base, including the one at bat, get to run home.  (Does that make any sense?  I am still learning baseball too!)  Evan was pretty excited because he thought it was a home run, and it was a great way to end the season!

One of Evan's best friends, Ryan, played on the opposing team.  Before the game, they had played together all afternoon.  :)
The coaches gave all of the kids a game ball because they had such a great season and learned so much.  Way to go, Evan!  We are so proud of you!
