Its been a LOOOOOOONG day.

It started at 12:30. AM. Yup. I woke up thinking about the puppy, and today's events, and the housework that needs to be done. So I couldn't get myself back to sleep for the rest of the night. I finally gave up trying at around 5:00, and just jumped in the shower. The kids had playdates and basketball camp, which were great. I think that it was the swimming lessons that put me over the edge. Its a bit of a drive to get there, so between the traveling, 4 lessons and dinner at McDonald's, I was beat. So now they're finally in bed, and that's exactly where I'm heading. After 21 hours of being awake, my bed is calling to me. :)

Tomorrow Henry and Seth are having a "horse experience" with Grandma Nosek and one of her friends. They are very excited as they are going to be able to groom, feed and ride a horse! Caroline and Evan are going to hang out with their cousins and Aunt Nacibe. So, a fun day for everyone!

And then, of course, we pick up our puppy on Friday. When I was tucking Seth in to bed tonight, he whispered to me that he thinks that he is the most excited, that he thinks about it all the time, and his stomach keeps doing flip-flops. I love that child!

No word on Henry's test results for a possible latex allergy. However, he broke out in hives again today. I called the doctors' office 3 times trying to get the results, and each time they said that they hadn't gotten them yet. I do believe that they were getting a little tired of me. :) I probably should let them call me tomorrow as they said they would when they get the results. However, as the hospital promised them to me today, I am very tempted to call them bright and early in the morning.

Ok, seriously, this time I am REALLY going to bed. I do believe I'll need some rest to keep up with the pace of this next few days.

Get some sleep! Once that puppy comes, it'll be like having a new baby! They need to be taken out every half hour! And they howl. They howl at night. My dog, when she was a puppy....sometimes I am surprised we made it through the night...lol!

Whoops- deleted the last one... What is it that makes you worry so much you can't sleep? Sometimes I have to get up at 1 in the morning to make a detailed list of all the things I need to remember before my mind can finally let go and I can sleep. Hope you got a good nights rest tonight!

I hear you, Kitty. Please say some prayers that we'll someday get some sleep again! :)

Tanya, I tend to worry about everything and anything, especially since we've had kids. :) It only sometimes leads to insomnia, thank God!
