Oh my. Here we go!

Just this week, Dave has started to work with Evan on riding a bike without training wheels. The first time, Evan was excited but also understandably anxious about it. He lasted about 10 minutes, and then asked for Dave to put the training wheels back on. Dave did that, and Evan rode around on his own, practicing his skidding skills, of course. :)

Tonight, Dave asked Evan if he wanted to give two-wheeling another try. His brothers and sisters were riding their bikes as well, and feeling like a big kid, Evan got right back on that horse. He lasted longer this time, and I think the reason was because he was feeling a little more confident in Dave's ability to catch him.

I loved seeing the little smiles on his face as he was working on such a big boy skill. So proud of young Evan!
