Summer is fabulous. There are so many fun things to do, people to visit, activities for the kids. On the flip side, there are also many "not so fun" things to do, like, say...laundry, clutter, paperwork, etc. Because we are so often "on the go", the second set of things is not getting done. And what is sad is that even when we're not "on the go", I'm not focused or motivated or energetic enough to get things done. I try to multitask, but what I wind up doing is getting a whole bunch of things partially done.
Oh well. Someday.
You know what, though? I'm not going to feel bad tonight about what's not done. Look at what we did accomplish...

Two sleepovers and a wonderful visit with my sister and her four kids,
including a talent show,
a showcase of a new bike-ridng ability,
catching many fireflies,
a few mean games of SEQUENCE (my new favorite game), and LOTS O' LAUGHS!
Seriously? 'Tis the season to be a little scattered. Life is good. :)

You know what Sarah? The house will still be there needing to be cleaned in 20 years, but you won't be able to go back and make memories with your kids. They'll be all grown up :o( Take advantage of it now, and don't worry about the "other stuff".
That is exactly my life right now! I have TWO in football (Bee and C lol) and C's team goes 2 hours M-F! Until School Starts! I figure I have Fall, Winter, and Spring to worry about the schedule...and the laundry...they all live in their bathing suits all summer anyway ;)
What is this game you speak of? I am currently obsessed with "Words with friends" lol
